The 941 Krew is a growing local community of skateboarders, scooter riders, and BMX riders based out of North Port, Florida. We’re here for one simple reason, that is to bring local riders together and give everyone a place to be part of something. It doesn’t matter how old you are, what you ride, or how good you are.
As the KREW grows, we want to give local riders more opportunities to be seen and supported.
That means showcasing progression, sharing clips, highlighting local riders, visiting local skateparks, supporting local businesses, and hopefully creating more reasons for people to get outside, ride, and enjoy life. We want to build something that the local community can get behind and be proud to call their own.
We’re still growing, still learning, and still figuring things out ourselves. We don’t know exactly where this will go, and that’s part of what makes it exciting. We just know there are a lot of talented and passionate riders around our area, and we’d like to help bring more of them together.
I still remember the excitement of learning to ride a skateboard — and all the bumps, falls, and frustration that came with it.
Walking into a skatepark for the first time can be intimidating. You might not know anyone, understand how the park flows, or feel ready for the obstacles around you. We’ve all been there!
Kohen and I would love to help make that first experience a little easier. Come meet up with us at the skatepark! We’ll show you around, teach you some basic park etiquette, and help you learn the fundamentals to ride safely and confidently.
No problem! We have extra skateboards, scooters, and bikes – along with helmets, and pads so you can give something a try.
